    You are cordially invited to a Boxing Day and Kwanza Party


    Location: This thread on this forum at Ammit's house


    Time:Stroke of midnight on the 26th game time, until the clock hits the 27th




    >Once the party is happening make a post on this thread about your entrance to the party. It can be short and sweet or clever and funny. Just let us know you are here.
    >I am the party host so I will give a secret gift to the first person who comes to the party. (can't post before midnight, arriving early is rude!)
    >The first person will simply announce their arrival to the party and wait for the second person to show up.
    >Once the second person shows up and announces their arrival, the first person will send them a gift (worth around 10k is expected but sky is the limit) and a PM to let them know what they where sent (to prevent confusion)
    >The second person gifts to the third person, who gifts to the forth person etc.
    >Once you have your gift edit your post to say what you where given!
    >You do NOT need to wait for the person above you to do anything. As soon as it is the 26th post you are here without waiting.
    >You can arrive at the party more then once but try to leave a few hours between arrivals.
    >Posting might be busy so try to give things a few minutes before sending your gift out to make sure their is not post order weirdness.






    Since I am hosting the party I am already here. I have my vintage holiday apron on that Gael sent me and am finishing up the final touches, while I wait for the first guest.

    A short woman with ginger wavy hair walks in. You can't help but notice the giant sequined dragonfly on the front of her sweater. It looks to be a fuzzy mohair sweater but then you realize the "fuzz" is really copious amounts of cat hair. So, those rumors she's a crazy cat lady are probably true.....

    A woman with an odd way of speaking, elongating the words and yet abbreviating them at the same time, hands me a glass full of straws, some of which are spotted with white patterns. Theres ICE in it!

    First time ever I wasnt 5 minutes early to anything! I must have had too much "punch" while waiting for the party to start. I'll just start making the rounds and see how everyone is doing.

    I've had to sneak out of the house to be here — December 26 is the family tradition of pajama day, in which there are only 3 rules: no one may leave the house, no one may come over, and no one may change out of their pjs all day. Don't tell them I'm here! After all, I don't want to get busted on my first time ever sneaking out to a party :)

    Edit: I got straws from 3 wonderful stallions, the #7 top producing stallion in the era 0 breeders' club last season, a W4 S+ ex pro foundation, and a Sb2Sb1 S+ A papered foundation. Thank you very much, Gemfish, I can't wait to see the foals I get from them!

    Since I was lame and passed out right after I arrived, I'm up and ready to go for round two! I made some french toast and lots of coffee. Looking around to see who is still asleep from last night and who might want to chat this morning.

    Phew, I just got back from visiting the owner of our local stable with a friend - we brought her some chocolate and helping hands as a Christmas present. It's still fairly chilly here, something like 10 degrees in Fahrenheit (and -10 in Celsius), so I've popped in with some wool socks and a hot beverage. Anyone want some?

    I've been popping in and out of the game for the past week or so, and I think I may do some light breeding in January, just for fun. So I'll pop in to the party...watching it snow outside my window it's nice to have somewhere warm to be!

    After a day spent baking in our pajamas, we actually left the house (still in our pjs, of course) to deliver kolach (nut roll) and raspberry cookies to friends and family. I'm making a special stop here for all of you to enjoy our best family recipes :)
