My name is Ratfuehrer. I have loved horses all of my life and I have the great pleasure of owning two rescued racehorses. An off-track Thoroughbred and an off-track Standardbred.

I have a question! I finished the achievement for the welcome pack but did not receive it. Will I not get it because i bought the new member pack?

@WhiskeyRoseRanch If you look in the left margin, under Vital Links, you'll find one for the Genetics Guide. In addition, for horses that have been color tested, each genetic pair in the list is a link to that section of the Guide. Most of the genetics in the game are based on real life, except for the Fantasy Genes Ammit has invented to give us some extra fun.

Some of the new genes in the game, that are based on real life, like Mushroom, haven't been put in the guide yet, however.

On my main account here I keep all my mares in pastures and show the under age horses and show horses BUT I also have 5,000 altered show horses alone and 1,300 breeding horses so not overly worried about the 700 that are in the pastures bringing home the bacon lmao (and I’ve been working on selling off most of my high pointed show horses because I couldn’t spend what I was making in a year)

On my main account on hj2 I have between 2-3,000 show horses. Since I don’t cull them they only earn roughly 30k less than my show horses here. I only have the one pasture there so rotate my mares in and out for 5-9 days bonus depending on if I’m giving bonuses to just my foundations or as many generations as possible.

My secondary account I have about 21,500 points so mostly keep everyone in the barn showing and move mares into the pastures to breed and back to show when they’re done. Although I just put a group of mares in that I’d like to keep in for a few months now.

Posting here since this is the oldest September group. I actually started in September 2016! I had a few breaks in there, wasn't consistent until the last few years. I'm currently on a fantasy binge - I have a mash up of lots of different genes going on.
