@SandyCreekAcres do you make custom tattoos by any chance? Or would you mind shrinking it to the required size if I provided the image in a 100x100pixel image? I mostly use my phone as I don't have the Photoshop suite on my laptop. I want to make one for myself but none of the apps I use can bring the image to 25x25 pixels.

I'm trying, but there is a hitch. Your image transfers into Photoshop as white letters on a totally black background, rather than as outlined letters. I can remove the black to leave white letters on a transparent background and even change the color, but I cannot restore an outline, since I am using a mouse, which is the worst tool for drawing smooth lines. (I've been dreaming of Wacom tablets for years; alas, they are only a dream.) I could do for you what I've done for RutledgeRanch and others--make a dark tattoo for lighter colored horses and a light one for the dark horses. Either one, in my experience, may have the disadvantage of getting lost on busy patterns like White 1 or strongly roaned coat. To cope with those, there are always the image corners or even using the invisible inner lip, so you'd still have the tattoo for searching, even if it wasn't visibly helpful.

I believe it is because it is a vector image. I have had this happen before with vector shapes. Vector images work differently than most other ones. I'll take a look at it on photobucket and see if that makes a difference.

Okay, the horses pictured above now all have the correctly formatted tattoo. It really gets lost on the White 1, but the others look pretty good. Let me know what you think.

I have posted both versions on my site at Pbase, in case you want to use the two-color on the darker horses. Or, if you prefer, I can make a lighter gray one.

You can get them by right clicking on the image itself, saving it to your device, and then uploading it to the game. You do that by going to your tattoo registry found in the right margin on the stable home page. Your first tattoo slot is free. Additional ones cost 10k. First give a tattoo the name you want to recognize it by in the slot to Edit Tattoo Name. Don't forget to save the change (something I find myself doing all to often). Then browse your device to the place where you saved the tattoo image, and select it. Finally click "Upload Your Tattoo."

Then go to the tack tab of each horse you want to put it on, scroll to the bottom of the page and click select the place you would like the tattoo to be, and click Edit tattoos on this horse. Select the place on the horse or image where you'd like to put the tattoo and click Place Tattoo.

(You could probably figure all this out, but I like to make it as easy as possible for new tattoo users to navigate the steps. )
