Surprised
-
This isn't a complaint. It's just an observation and a bit of curiosity about whether it's something new I'll have to be careful of going forward.
I had a surprise a bit earlier this evening. I posted a thank you to another member after getting a share of an Rank 5 Herd Helper, then a quick comment about the badger-face mare my daughter had made a post about. Then I began to enter a bid on a horse up for forum auction and received this message, or something to this effect:
You have just made two posts in under 60 seconds. A spam block has been applied to your account. You must now wait 120 seconds before making another post. So, I waited the required 2 minutes and then entered my bid.
I don't recall ever seeing this before, and surely I must have done some equally quick posting some time in the past. Anyway, I will be careful to slow down my posting speed in the future. :) -
Nothing has been changed with the forum for ages. I did not even set that up it is just the default.Need to contact me? Read this first.
I sometimes get busy and miss things. If your private message, question, etc. gets missed please ping me so I can follow up with you. I am also always happy to explain or clarify. (HAJ does not have a customer service email, please send me a forum message! )

Thanks for responding, Ammit. I guess I was just super-speedy with those sequential posts.

I've had that happen once or twice. :)
