PT Scores
-
What's a good score for a foundation stallion and what would be considered good for a second generation horse?
-
PT scores in foundations have nothing to do with breeding ability. In gen2 I'd cull a mare that was throwing any foals under 9
-
Hey Ducky! What are you looking to breed for color wise? I might have something I can send you :)Go boldly, where no App has gone before!

Hey Kat I've got a bit of a mixed herd going on at the moment, seem to be heading more into champagne, palomino and flaxen now.
Just bred some 2nd gen colts & fillies from my foundation herd and got a 10.8 and 2x 10.2 so was wondering if they were good or just ok for the generation. -
Well, if anything fits your needs, just let me know. I've got way too many foundations and second generations. I went a little crazy lol.

Jemimapuddleduck, I love your name. If you're into champagne, I have quite a few superior second gen boys (better breeders than their sires, though I haven't PT'ed all of them) and really too many foundation mares. If you're interested you can search through my stock, ID 211323. Anything with the prefix G1/G2/GH1/GH2 would be at least het champagne, though quite a few others could be up for sale as well if you need it. :)
I'd also be willing to send straws or eggs at cost next breeding season, if you tell me from which horses you'd like them.

Hey Kat & HiLo
Sorry didn't get back to you both straight off, real life stuff took over.
Kat, you sure have a bit of a hoarding thing going on don't you lol. You've got some nice 2G champagne appy girls. i need to have a clear out and get rid of the low performers over here before I take any more on right now, would like to add in appy, tobiano and rabicano into my champagne breeding in future so may have another look in your barn down the line unless you have any you're definitely moving on out right now.
HiLo, thank you. I borrowed my real life horse's show name. She's a bay thoroughbred, was my dressage horse and now retired at the age of 25.
I may come back to you on the 2G eggs in a couple of breeding seasons. I've got a couple of what look like reasonable score champagne yearling colts from this season but only one mare in this crop.
Just added 2 sooty champagne HH mares, first failed SaT and got snipped, second levelled out after first training and then gave me a gelding when bred *sigh*, this is definitely as challenging as RL breeding. -
You're welcome to anything I have, anytime. I'll have more next season as well. Just let me know what suits you ;)Go boldly, where no App has gone before!

Hit me up whenever you need anything. If I can help, I will :)

I breed a lot of Champagne if your interested next season, or any after. I breed for black and bay based horses but sometimes they come up chestnut. I am also starting an appy line, they will likely be varnish but many will also be champagne. If your ever in the market hit me up early in breeding season (even if you don't have the cash right away I will hold them for you) I do hard culling pretty early but I'd be more than happy to help you out.

urban rockers, if any of the Apps or champagnes in my collection will help your program, I'm happy to share straws/eggs/breedings.Go boldly, where no App has gone before!
