It's a list you fill out and send to the person who started that thread. It needs what you like, and needs what you don't like.

And it's better to register with just one account. She's just warning that if someone registers on different accounts, they might end up as being secret santas to each other on those different accounts.

So it would just be easier to register on one account. That way, you're guaranteed a Secret Santa that isn't you.

The three groups are either under 250k spending limit, above 250k but under 2million spending limit or the third group is limitless spending.
You have to think about how much you'd like to spend for your SS.
What I have done the past several years is choosing the under 250k group, as I cannot spend any real money (and thus going over the 2 million value). But, as I am a big stable, I can spend much more than 250k. However, SS is about the gifting, not the receiving, therefore I like to spoil my SS, even if I might not get an equal value of gifts in return. After all, the best is not what you get but making other people happy!

What you like and dislike is up to you.
You can put anything there, from colors or genes you breed for (or not breed for), to showhorses, new barns, money, straws, anything you wish for.
What I did for my like list is saying that I breed for dark horses (double sty and/or DP), with a bonus of Snowflake, KP, GP and the limited genes I breed for. But showhorses are good as well.
On my dislike I put single sty horses and uneven generations (as I am a even generation breeder).
But basically it is up to you! Anything can be on that list!

I would apply if I was you even just for the lowest categories.

This community is so generous that I’ve done both categories (the unlimited one is new this year) for the last 5+ years and while my ss’s have all had completely different goals from me and I’ve had to look outside my barn to collect things I have really struggled to actually spend 100,000 between the 2 without drowning my Ss in straws and eggs and horses.

This year the lowest limit has increased from 100,000 to 250,000 but you don’t have to spend the whole limit on your Ss if you don’t have it or want to.

I always figure if it looks like the sender attempted to look for my likes and desires than it’s all good even if it may have only been 5 plain create mares in my breeding colour goals.

Yep as Bandit1119 says don't hesitate to sign up for the lowest group! I'm sure there is something you could find for your SS. It doesn't have to be much, even if it is just a few show horses or 1 foundation or rank special create they are looking for.

Just sign up for the first category, and shoot me a message if you have trouble finding things for your SS. I am more than happy to help you!

You can also ask other people if they have a particular horse you are looking for (without saying exactly who your SS is!). You will find that people are very generous in offering potential presents to those taking part in Secret Santa.

Any horses or pony's with Loud Color! (Preferably intact but not intact is okay!) But would also love

-A Basic upgrade

-Some more barns (Would really like 1,000 barns if you can but I really don't care how many)

-Help with customization if I do get a basic upgrade

-Help to get my fav tack packs (Long and Luscious and One Thousand and One Nights)

-Would also like The Big Floof tack pack and Simply Sheets but rather have the other two than these but if it's all you can get then I'm okay with that!

-Any size or breed of RS would also be great! (Preferably ones I don't have and are intact mares but if not then okay!)

I have: RS-First Snow, Candy Appleloosa, Cherry Drop, Trick Or Treat, Kings Ransom, Two A Rhythm Of Fours, Dark Chocolate, and a Good China.

If you can only get me one thing or another that's okay! It's pretty expensive my list so I'm 100% not expecting to get everything.

Dislike:
Don't really care for "bland" color horses but if I do get some I'll make them work with my pretty ones. (Again preferably intact but it's okay if not!) Other than that I'm not going to be picky.

One thing to watch is that your limit is 250,000hbs (or 20IV’s) so your likes should be under the limit.

(A basic upgrade is 375,000. For barns You can get one 60 stall barn or some smaller. And Check to see if the tack packs are under 20IV’s each)

And maybe specify a base colour for the colours you like or dislike. One persons bland colour is another’s loud colour.

I agree with everyone else! You should sign up. Even participating in the most expensive category, it is hard to actually spend that because so many of us are more than happy to help you spoil your recipient! :)

The limit is for everyone. You pick the category you want and stay within the limit. The lowest category you spend up to 250,000 on the recipient you get and the person that gets you spends up to 250k on you

The limit is for both. In the 250k group, that's the maximum in value of gifts you should expect to both send and receive.
