    I upgraded to basic and my primary barn increased to 75 stalls from 40 and my primary pasture increased from 10 to 60 but I thought it was supposed to also give me a separate 10 acre pasture?

    As I read the description, I think probably it enlarges your primary pasture in the same way that it enlarges your primary barn.

    My upgrade to what is now Basic took place a long time before we had pastures, so I can't speak from personal experience.

    Nope. You get that if you join two accounts together, or buy it.

    Free account has 10 acre pasture, basic is a 60, premium is 100. Going from free to basic is just an expansion of 50 acres. I have a free account on hj2 and premium on hj1.

You can now use GTs to enlarge your pastures, all the way up to 200 mares! Pasture sizes have also been standardized.
