So we have the Candy and now we have Brindle. Just like the Candy, is it hard to get? 1-5, 1-10, 1-20 horses?

I bred roughly 10 brindle mares this season with non brindle stallions and only came out with 1 brindle foal... some players go many real life years never getting a brindle baby. Getting brindle out of 2 non brindle parents is very rare... having 1 brindle parent only rises your chances ever so slightly..

On server 2 I bred 11 brindle mares to a brindle stallion and got no brindle babies

So their not worth going after then? I'd think I'd pass then.

Solely focusing on just brindle isn't worth going after, no.. mainly because brindle isn't an actual gene but a gene mutation from when twin fetuses fuse together. In some species it's known as a chimera (pronounced kimera).. it's when something contains 2 different sets of DNA from a twin.

For the create focus now they come up 1 in 5, that for me meant i got 1 from my first 10 create about about 10 since then (reckon i'm sitting about 50 creates).
As for breeding it on the chances are quite small, but you can get some as a surprise.

Candy ponies are much rarer to get during the create spree :D

The chances of getting some are in my favor, but as breeding wise I'd think I just stick with what I got.

I created 27 horses and I got 5 brindles.

Technically there is an actual brindle gene, called BR1. I don't understand why it isn't in the game though. There is actual breeding farms that breed specifically for Brindle.

I love it when brindle breakouts happen! I bred some brindles in colors I don't usually get so I have had a lot of fun breeding for them today :)
