    I'm having issues... It won't let me put a WW gene on a certain horse, or any I want. What are all the requirements for adding a gene, just so I know?

    Horse 4 years old and under that's unbred (or if it's bred and the foal was sold back to the game, that works too) and it has to be foundation lines

    The age limit has been lifted. As long as it's an intact foundation with no foals, you should be able to add genes.

    Lined horses (those with real parents in the game) can only have a gene added if it's something one of the parents carries but hasn't passed on to the baby.
