I can't be the only one this happens to! My tattoos (I have 3 slots now) can't be edited because horses have them but when I click the link it doesn't add up.
Slot 1 has 0 horses with the tattoo.
Slot 2 has 1 horse with the tattoo, but search shows zero.
Slot 3 has 6 horses with the tattoo, but search shows 1.

Is there any way that this can be changed so I can edit them? What causes it to be incorrect? Do I need to change something in the search to show these "hidden" horses?

Try doing a search for deceased horses with the tattoos in question.

Yea, there is tons of deceased for both of them, I didn't think that mattered though?

Also, side note... I just spent a good amount of time editing the one I can change, clicked save, and when it went to the tattoo registry screen it was the original one....

You may need to refresh that screen. Web browsers don't update just because an image changed. If you have seen an image before your browser won't download it again unless you tell it to by refreshing.

Its still the same today and my computer was off all night, any idea on the other tattoo slots Ammit, where they say there are horses who have them but I can't find any ?

In order to refresh the screen, look for the little curving arrow at the end of the URL and click on that when you are on a page.

Unfortunately, it does matter if deceased horses are wearing a tattoo. It cannot be removed from their pages, since they are in the Archive, and so even though you can change the image in the editor, you can't save the changes. At least this is my understanding of how it works, based on my own experience.
