brindle breeding
-
I was wondering since chance of getting brindle foal are really low... would it help my chance if i mass pull egg from my mare ? I know it will get pricey but i really want to try so i will do what i need to do to get it .. and one of my mare is a fully lined...i should find a fully lined stud or my second gen will do?
-
Honestly, the chances of getting brindle is so low... I am not sure it would be worth mass flushing your mare. You can collect eggs every 5 days for 3000 hbs each, and get more over a longer period of time.
I like consistent pedigrees, so I would personally breed a fully lined mare with a fully lined stallion. -
Oh okay good to know!... i was thinking once i pulled an egg i could not pull an other one...
I will hunt a fully lined then ! Thanks for your answer visions :)

Note: You can pull another egg on the 6th day after you pull the first: pull and egg on the 1st of the month, the next on the 6th of the month, the next on the 12th, etc. If you don't live cover the mare, you can continue pulling eggs throughout the game year.Thanked by 1leiana

I will do that way then. If i start early i will be able to get a few before de season end

Trying to breed for brindle is a very expensive exercise in frustration. One of the long time members who was chasing brindle once reported on her success rate. I forget the exact numbers, but I believe she only got a handful of brindle foals, most of them neutered, out of several thousand brindle breedings.

I guess i love complicated :p i probably wont get any but its okay i do realise that its not gonna be easy :) i have other horse to breed that will probably bring me more satisfaction but i love bridle :) even if i dont get any brindle foal i will be super happy to see thé one i bought

I used to chase brindle hard. I have done 500 brindle x brindle breedings in one season and didn't get a single brindle foal out of it. A good year would give me two or three.
It is an exercise in both patience and frustration, and I would recommend you set yourself firm limits on how much you're going to spend in the quest, it's real easy to keep trying "just one more" and end up broke, particularly when you're dealing with eggs or straws and ET's.Thanked by 1SherwoodStables
