After years of considering it I am officially changing breeding season to end on the 28th just before rollover. Breeding season now lasts for 2 months officially. Why? It's better game growth to allow year round breeding. It has worked great over on HJ2 and we have done several test seasons with extra breeding time and everyone always likes that.

I know there is a bunch of places where old breeding season dates are listed and have never been updated over the years. If you see them post them here so I can change them. Thanks!

Sorry if this doesn't make sense, or the answer is obvious - I have had to get up VERY early for work for three days running and I'm not as young as I used to be!

I have put some horses into my pastures already to take maximum advantage of the automatic breeding on 14th March, but some of my horses weren't bred this season and I don't want them to breed too early (ie this hajinc year rather than next). What's the best strategy for using pastures under the new breeding times?

Also, will we still get a breeding time and date for the new season like we do now?

OMG Thank you so much Ammit! The yearly, or monthly, breeding was the reason I joined HJ2 but my barn here has all my favorite horses. Will this change the aging system at all?

Nothing has changed with pastures or breeding start times. The only thing that changed is the day it ends. Everything else is the same.

Will pasture foals still age in the same way ie turn into yearlings midway through the new 2 month season and then become 2 year olds on the first of the month when the breeding season starts?
Will they need to be removed from pastures earlier than before?

Pastures have not changed at all. They are exactly the same as they have been.

When you breed a public mare its still say tht breeding season end the 14 th :) ... 5)thanks by the way! Super happy with that change :)

Breeding season hasn't been ending on the 14th in years and it's changed a few times since, never remember it ending on the 14th and I've been here over 3 years (maybe towards the beginning, I forget). Things like this sometimes don't get updated as Ammit has 1000 things on her to do list so something that small falls to the bottom of the list.

Figured since it's been like that for years, and she changed the breeding times she would know. In the past things like that got overlooked but everyone knew what was what. Must have missed that message this time.
