Pasture "bonus" question

    I have mares that just spend their lives, year after year, continuously in the pasture. Lately my ratio of blue ppered 2G mares from B stallions and yellow mares has drastically reduced. I used to get 5-6 in a pasture. Now, since we have monthly "years" I am lucky to get 2. I am especially grumpy as I yummed one of the blue girls by accident today.

    Is this the new trend or my bad luck?
