I am going to make a SERIOUS effort to NOT use as much Hajinc slang!

I remember that one of the major reasons I didn't play HJ for a long time was the fact that I could not understand what so many of the forum posts were about! Who did that survey/paper on the HJ community (and what grade did you get, by the way?!)? Several people commented that the abbreviations and slang made the forum, unintentionally, less welcoming to new players.

I'm not sure how we could encourage each other to keep things easier for new people to understand, but I plan to push people in the New Players Lounge to Keep it Simple! On my own posts I'm going to try my best to be more clear, and ask people to point it out if I start to speak too much Hajinc!

What kind of HJ resolutions will YOU make!?

I think that's a great resolution! I remember trying out HJ a long time ago, maybe 2010 or so and it confused me so I gave up, but now I started just over a year ago and the players here were so helpful and the admins were so friendly. Lessening abbreviations would definitely make the game more welcoming and make it easier for new players to navigate.

My new years resolution is definitely to help more people out when I can. I don't play with real money so I understand my resources are limited but I want to help players old and new reach their goals. Over this year I have been blessed so many times by friendly people who helped me get IV's for an upgrade and start experimenting with Ice genes, so I want to give back!
