You may do better posting this on the sales forum. :)

@SharayahStables thank you! I didn't realize I posted on Haj discussion *facepalm*
-
What do you consider flashy? Does evenly bred mean even number of generations on both sire/dam sides or even paper levels bred?
-
@LenasHollywood I love Appys, Kitm, and W8 but anything with loud color just nothing W2 or Grey. Kinda like this boy. Also even bred as in even papers I'm not very good with generations so I usually don't pay attention to that.

He's lovely @Buttrflyfreefall but I'd really like to have a stud that has even papers through his generations

No worries. I didn't go through his generations, I ended up acquiring him when WestCoast quit.Chuck help me resist the Shiny babies.... Chuck says I'm on my own. :'(

I have this guy, I bought him a few days ago but I think he may be prefect for what you’re looking for. I only spent 2600 on him so that’s what I would offer him for because I’m not looking to make money on flipping him. Just want him to be used:)

@AWBreeding He'd be perfect except for the W2! I'm sorry I feel like I'm being so picky I also updated my post so I don't waste anyone else's timePost edited by RutledgeRanch at 2019-01-02 17:22:28

Not a problem at all! I completely understand, you have to be picky to get exactly what you want:)
-
Just curious, what do you actually mean by even papers through his generations? So you don't care if they have mixed generations, but that B is bred to Red and C is bred to Yellow etc?? Is that for aesthetics, how it looks on the pedigree? I'm genuinely curious as to why you'd prefer say an A papered stallion that is say out of a B/Red cross, than an A papered stallion from say a A/Red cross?

To much white factor gives me lethal foals. Here is a link to my pasture full of Blue papered mares if this helps anyone

I didn’t go through all, but looks like at least some of the girls are even 2G Blue mares. I’d go with a 2G A stallion, but that’s just me. :)

@SharayahStables if you have any tips on explaining generations I would take a lesson lol

@SharayahStables Thank you!

I have these boys.
LC2 Sticky Bandit
LC2 Satin and Lace
This one is draft but very flashy.

@Humboldt if only his PT was higher! The second isn't what I'm looking for and the third guy is cute but alas a draft.
-
You are not likely to find many 2nd gen horses with a PT over 11. I breed mostly ex pro/perf foundations and have over 1200 intact 2nd gens. Of those, 14 have a PT between 11.1 and 11.3. All 14 have at least one boosted parent (A/blue), and most have both parents boosted. An additional 10 horses have a PT of 11, 7 of which were from 2 regular ex pro/perf parents.Breeding high quality Sheldasen horses in all the fancy colors.

Also, PT score is not an indicator of breeding ability. :)

@Cipher thank you but I would like for them to not have fantasy genes at this point in time lol. I have to many to try and start a herd with now
