Super consistent?
-
Can a super consistent horse be consistently bad? Or are they all consistently good showers?
-
Super consistent only means that it will receive exactly the same show points each time it shows in a week. If it scores 35 the first time it shows, it will score 35 the second time it shows. So the show results will depend on where its score that week falls in the range for its grade level and what the scores of its competition are. Have patience. Depending on the actual PT and the starting score, the horse should have good weeks and bad weeks.
If your stable is large enough, just keep on showing it. As long as it doesn't come in dead last in a class (or next to last in a class where that position only gives half a point), it will continue to collect points and add increasingly to your weekly showing bonus.
Generally speaking, in most levels from 2 through 5, scores ranging from ?8 through ?0 will do well in shows, placing in the top half most of the time. Starting with Level 6, Ammit reworked the leveling up scores to accommodate the large number of 12+ PT scores in the game and make it easier for more horses to do well in the Level 8 classes, so I'm not exactly sure where the levels change in the upper reaches.
Most horses with PT's ranging from 9.? through the early 10's will gain 3 points in their show score with every training, if you need to keep track of potential score before showing.
My daughter reminds me that now that the Level 5 autoshow features shows all the horses in a barn regardless of score, the profitable scores range a bit more because there are a lot more horses with lower scores entered in classes than there used to be.Post edited by SandyCreekAcres at 2015-03-16 14:30:23 -
Thank you for your input! Hopefully one day I'll know as much as you... haha :)

Well, I had the advantage of watching my daughter play for 8 months before I started myself, and I've been playing since January of 2011, so I expect that if you keep playing regularly, you'll get there soon enough. :)>-
