I'd like to add some Appaloosa into my champagne breeding. I'm just getting started on my breeding and have a few regular champagne 2nd gen from my own studs, now want to add some variety.

I picked up these herd helpers to add to my broodies

tempted to use the same stallion that sired my filly but as my foundie stock is limited right now I would like to use a different stud so I don't start with too closely bred stock in my 2nd gen

Does anyone have any champagne appy studs I could use please? Ideally I would like them to be exceptional producers or B papered minimum so I hopefully get quality foals. would also love to add in genes for sabino, splash etc as a bonus

@ Urban Rockers I love Serious Storms, he would be perfect for my champagne appy girl to hopefully get a higher quality foal as she's a normal HH.

I'm really excited about finding my breeding goal at last. I couldn't see anything I really wanted to focus on until I bred the filly in my first post earlier this week.

Thanks Kat, I picked up the mare, she fits perfectly into my foundation herd for my champagne line and I have an appy stud for her next season.

Looking forward to seeing my next season's 2G foals from them.

My barn is now over full so I need to do some serious weeding out before I can shop again so going to have to pass on the colt for now.
