16 Mares up for breeding *DONE*
-
Im suddenly realizing I'm not going to be able to get to every girl like I wanted to. I'm really trying to focus mainly on my show string right now, and I don't want to get stuck looking at a baby I don't need intact but can't help it. (Cause I need to look at the baby first before testing it) I have 16 girls up for your pleasure, enjoy!

Only got one intact, but definitely a decent one.
DW Light Standard -
Got another!
DW Golden Bounty -
He's superior to both my champagne stallions.
-
That's very sad that she didn't pass but don't worry @BreedingStable, I bought her because she is one cuuute show baby! She's safe and sound with me.
@bluchrystals I looked through the baby's and my you got some cute ones! And I am Very Happy to hear that he's superior to your dudes! I'm glad I put her up!Thanked by 1BreedingStable -
Only show, but what a show!
SW Hallow Amour -
Oh my she's cute!♥️ Definitely a good pretty show baby!
-
I'm glad she will work for you as a show pony @Wolvevenfrost ! I have to many so i could'nt keep her lol.
-
She most certainly will! And since when was there such a thing as "too many show ponies"? =))
You can never have enough! I'm working on getting a 1:10 ratio, so far I'm doing pretty well. Let me see... -
I have 151 intacts and 219 show ponies. I don't know the ratio as I can't figure it out for the life of me but I'm happy with where I'm getting! And the fact that I'm soooo close to getting a 1,000 stall barn to stuff with nothing but show horses I couldn't be happier! Last time I checked, I needed 99,472 hbs to get it. I'm so excited! And it's all thanks to @veetiepony1!Post edited by Wolvevenfrost at 2019-02-08 16:58:04

Ok, if I figured it right breeder/show, your ratio is almost 1:1.5.Post edited by bluchrystals at 2019-02-08 19:28:42

If you want straight 1:10 at the amount of breeders you have now, you'd need 1,510 show horses.
-
Nice! Actually doing better than I thought hahaha! Do you know the formula to get the ratio? I'd like to use it. And thanks for figuring it out for me!♥️
-
Well I'll have the 1k horses covered within a few months so I'm stoked!
-
The way I did it was to take your show number and divide it by your breeder number, which in this case comes to 1.45 or almost 1.5. To figure how many you'd need for the ratio you want, I took the amount of breeders you currently have and multiplied by ten.
-
Oh OK! Thank you so much!♥️♥️
-
I have a couple of show foals from some of the breeding I've done against one of your stallions. They didn't pt very high, but would you like them back?
-
-
I'm not looking for many more show horses, so, if you want her, I've got this one, too.
DW Golden Snow -
I would love to have more show babies! But if you could, could you hold onto them as I'm reeaallly trying to save up for this 1,000 stall barn I'll need less than 100k when my weekly pay, daily show bonus, and showing kicks in next week. I know that sounds like a lot but by the end (hopefully middle) of the month or beginning of next month I'll have enough to get it and fill it with nothing but show ponies. Which I can't wait for as you've probably seen.Post edited by Wolvevenfrost at 2019-02-09 03:20:53

I sent you a message Wolvevenfrost
-
The lowest one in pt I have is 3.00 haha! Doesn't earn me anything but I still love him. I have another just above him the doesn't earn anything but the next one above that is my dude earns 30 every day at 3.80.
3.00
Daaaaaaaannnnnggg
3.80

Haha! Normally I only keep below 9.9 if they reeally pretty. And I don't like inconsistency at all. Sometimes you'll get an inconsistent that still shows really well, and other times they're not worth the hassle. Instead of taking the time to weed through them, I just sell/auction them.Post edited by bluchrystals at 2019-02-09 03:29:59

Actually I learned that it's just better to keep them all as they eventually earn their stay. Sometimes some of your inconsistent ones are better than your consistent as you said. They said that (I think this was Lallyhop on the other server) your best inconsistent horses are at the top in points with consistent horses in the middle, then your worst inconsistents at the bottom sandwiching the consistents again you know and you don't want to bother with it. To me I learned from all that I've read, PT doesn't mater that much when time is given. They will still earn you more than enough for what you paid or breed them for. It's worked very well for me so far. So I keep absolutely everybody and it's really going to pay off in the end. Of course higher does do better, although I heard that 10.00 to 11.00 do best I don't know.
-
Higher should do better but doesn't seem to always matter. I go by how fast they earn points, at least for the ones I buy. Take a weeks worth of points and some have a higher earn number than others.
-
That's definitely true! That's why I keep all of them so I don't have to worry. They all earn their keep, (except the two haha) in the end so I don't care. This game definitely is fascinating when it comes to the showing factor. Can be as simple or a complex as you want it to be. It's really cool! I love this game...how many times an I going to say that today? I've said it so many times on both the servers haha!
-
Haha! I've taken this over Facebook! Didn't realize until I spent a few days only on here how much the other was irritating me. Way too much drama for my stress level.
-
I'd love to know the standard for snips. I just used Sooty My Nudty, got a perfect little RED filly, even the right color...she got snipped.
DW Got SootinPost edited by bluchrystals at 2019-02-09 04:15:08 -
I definitely can understand that! Although really all I look at is beautiful stories of heroic or surviving dogs, cats, horses, birds or whatever. Whatever animal it is that goes through so much and in the end finds their path in life.♥️♥️♥️ It's fills my heart with love and hope.♥️
-
I'm pretty positive her momma is a yellow and the daddy obviously is a B. Mix the two together and you probably got a low red which I'm pretty positive is worse than the daddy so she got the snip. I could be wrong but it makes sense to me.Post edited by Wolvevenfrost at 2019-02-09 04:15:07

Hmm, I thought it was just foundation to foundation. Looks like I'm going to have to go deeper. Haha!
-
I used Gotcha Now because he's the best Gold Champagne I have, most of his foals stay intact and throw gold cream, which is the color I'm really trying for. It can't be homogeneous cream because they just go cremello or perlino (can't remember which). He seems to do best against chestnuts. Got a beautiful Blue out of him earlier. She came out chestnut so I did a little adjusting. :D
DW Gotcha Extreme -
I matched him to a solid, that's the reason for the added PATN1. She had a blanket, just not to the extent I prefer.
-
Yea papers do play an important role when breeding, although it doesn't always work it'll be better if you want more intact offspring. But of course you'll always get high (superior), mid (most pass but some don't), and low (most don't pass but some do) when breeding any of the same paper level together. The same gen does play an important part too though. The father apart the gens are at the same paper level, the worse intact ratio I think. But of course you still do have a chance at getting good foals. This game can be very complex the more you dive into it as I've noticed many times before.
-
He's an exceptional producer. I thought it meant I could use him against anything and they'd be better levels. I'm going to have to go back through my mares. Hmm, decisions, decisions. :))
-
And I'm pretty sure hom cream is cremello as I have a lot of them and only one or a few perlinos.
-
Here I'll show you a good example that just because they are good or excellent breeders doesn't always mean they will give out intact foals. And I'm going to find my perlinos and a few cremello horses.
-
I think maybe cremello is homogeneous cream chestnut and perlino is homogeneous cream black, but I'd have to go back and look at mine to be sure.

No dominant A or E genes. Haha! This game is awesome! And it is perlino/black, cremello/chestnut.Post edited by bluchrystals at 2019-02-09 04:39:16

The horses I've been trying to compare genomes between, I've been taking screen shots of the combinations. That way I can compare side by side or try to duplicate the ones I really like.
-
Like I said sometimes you can get bad ones from pretty much perfect parents. I would like to save screenshots but I already have trouble with space on my phone as is.
Holidays Of Cheer -
Could write them down, but I'd have more papers than I'd know what to do with :))

I'm thinking about making an account on the other server, too. So far I only have this one. Can you breed between the two? I'd hate to leave all my Chinchillas, just to get extra horses.
-
Like I need more horses. @-)
-
I thiiiiink you can but you'll have to ask to make sure. But im pretty sure you'll have to buy the chinchilla license for the other server as well although I could be COMPLETELY WRONG! Never tried any of it so I have no idea. It's best just to ask in a separate post or ask Confluence or Ammit personally as it's a pretty serious question I think.
-
Don't we all need more horses I mean honestly, it's all we want right? I know that's how it is with me. More, more, more, More, More, MORE! Lol!Post edited by Wolvevenfrost at 2019-02-09 05:01:01

Once more is better than how many times I've picked it up here. :(( I've got four homogeneous stallions, six homogeneous mares, and two heterogeneous mares....just realized I spent more on chinchillas than I thought I did. :O good thing that was maternity pay, didn't have to juggle bills for that slip-up.
