I'm so glad I created my freaky friday as a foal! It gave me time to figure out what exactly I wanted her to look like!
She came out Black Frame (Ee aa Olw Olw)
Frame was the first to go! I like getting live births and I like white markings so I dont want to have to think about "is this safe to breed to?"
Next was Ee became ee making her black liver chestnut!
Then I fell for the ND1 so I made her hom ND1
Then I fell out of love with ND1 so ND1 went along with W20 and made her hom flaxen resulting in this....

Homozygous DP and ND1 is seriously my new favorite combination. Love it.Previously known as "lethalximpulse".

My project ND1 herd soured me on the gene itself... I just took on one too many projects then what I should have.. i had my KP roan project, my silver black project which would eventually join into the KP roan line and then my liver line that ultimate goal was black livers... adding a ND1 line was just too much

I love black livers! Especially when they’re flaxen. I made my Freaky Friday flaxen (and an app so she fits with my program) and got rid of one of her frame genes. Then I traded for another appy FF and made her nd1. :p
