Sad Snip

Beautiful colt. Now a show horse, glad the system does it. I'd have way too many uncut foals.

Seems like all the prettiest ones get snipped first.

This girl made me cry. I only get to breed a few ice horses a year, so I really hesitated before hitting BA. Thought, well, at least she'll be a pretty show pony...and her PT score is a full point lower than her half brother born five minutes ago. Sad, sad day.

Not super fond of Ice, but I definitely like her palomino pearl coloring. She's beautiful. I've went through all my show horses and kept the highest pt ones...and the prettiest ones :))

I might have to beg my husband to let me get chinchilla. Those babies are gorgeous!
-
They are, aren't they?! I think it's only on sale for a few more days. Then you have to wait for it to come back around. But it would give you time to save up for it.
-
Oh, before I forget, @wingedeagle the chinchillas are chinchilla/appaloosa. This is a plain chinchilla, he has no appaloosa genes.
SW Wishful Thinking C
This one is homogeneous(meaning a double gene) for blanket size and heterogeneous(meaning a single gene) for appaloosa spots.
SW Changin His Spots C
This one is double homogeneous for blanket size and spots.

Twelve foals. Ex Pro Appy/C stallions, Ex Pro Appy/Yellow mares. Not a single foal passed breeding advice!
-
What are they papered at? If you don't know already, it's free to paper snipped horses.
-
Hmm, I'll have to go look, Wolvevenfrost. I didn't bother once they got snipped.
-
So there's 4 yellow, 2 fails, and 1 red. I haven't papered the mares, but they passed SBA. Can't afford to paper all of them right now.
-
I was going to break it all down as to why they possibly failed but that would take me forever. Just to sum it all up, every horse has a chance at failing no matter what paper level, gen, be it even or uneven, an RS, an expro, a exceptionally perfect foundation, or just anything basically. And I have heard the higher even gens (6 and past) I've heard it's really hard and frustrating to get intacts no matter how perfect the line is. Just saying your always going to get disappoints every now and then. I still do. But I'm okay with it because it means more babies to grow up and print money to go in my a-pocket! (Except if it's one I've been wanting to have for so long or its the most absolute perfect color. Those ones hurt but it's good they don't pass as I will not be able to control the amount of foals I'd be getting.)Post edited by Wolvevenfrost at 2019-02-12 06:20:51

Everyone of them has come out an Era 6, if that matters.
-
Eras are only there to determine what horses they will be showing against (I think). Era 0 housing the most horses. Go to one of your horses pages and tap on the "all about eras" button. There you will find everything you need to know about it.
