got my first A papered colt today, hes out of my DP bay frame appaloosa 2g. Waiting to get 8k to see if hes superior.

Since he is A papered and not B papered he is already superior to his sire.

@RutledgeRanch not necessarily, some still test AGA even if they paper above their sire :)

The B papered sire is from C/yellow stock, so it is very likely the A papered colt is superior to sire

Even if they test about as good as, they must be *slightly* better since they papered higher, I would think? :)

^ This. Even if they test AGA, they are still superior if they are a paper level higher.

I think this colt would also test as being superior too though, his sire wouldn't be that high a B that he'd compare as good as an A I wouldn't think
