is putting a horse up for breeding with the Mushroom gene allowed?

I was able to put my Mushroon stud up for public breeding, so it should be.

It is restricted yes, but the game should stop anyone who doesnt have access to the gene from breeding to it I believe so it doesnt matter if they are posted public.

I just tested it, there is no need to worry. It will NOT let me breed to it, I must have the license of course. Big orange text showed and said I must own the license when I tried it. Hope this helped you!^^

I think certain restricted genes are blocked from public sale/breeding. My Axiom and Wrong Warp studs aren't able to be placed on the list, but my Chinchilla and Mushroom studs are. My going theory is the real life genes are the ones that can be. But anyone who doesn't have the licence can't purchase or breed to those horses.

Two different systems implemented at two different times. Fantasy genes where prevented from being posted BEFORE we have licensing. Now that we have licensing closed genes use the license system but the old system still remains in place. We have some open fantasy genes I don't want on the public list. It caused too many issues in the past.

I mostly just keep things in house, I find it easier that way. However, I sometimes sell foals with restricted genes that pass SBA and papering but not my color criteria in the appropriate clubs.
