I am so jealous! I wish I even had that many mares. Someday...

@LenasHollywood and @paradoxpheonix i have, at this moment, a grand total of 5486 horses :) And on the forest sever i have 8730 :D And every season my number keep going higher and high! That's why my daily bonuses are where they are. Because i keep as many as i can, and i show them all so i can earn all of the points! Although it has been a real struggle to get my bonus to go anywhere over here. It's been stuck around the same spot for so long, i just can't get it to go up and stay up :'( But alas, i'm working on it. And all those mares i spayed that are no longer in pasture, can now start showing and racking up the points!

I'm in the process of doing some spring cleaning. I went through my 3rd gens and got rid of the red papered mares that I still had lurking. I now reliably breed enough blue papers that I can afford to have all blue 3rd gens now. And of course, that led to weeding out 4th, 5th and even 6th gen some because of having those 3rd gen reds in their pedigrees. I wound up losing 4 of the 5 7th gen mares I have, but it's for the best, since it meant that the distaff side of their pedigrees would have been subpar compared to the sire's side since I require all my 3rd gen stallions to paper A. Even if they come from C/Yellow stock. Naturally, it also meant weeding out some stallions I had due to said 3rd gen reds.
