Many rank specials offer higher producing stock that will paper B/Red as well as a larger variety of patterns and genes than are common among other herd helpers. Most 1-4 ranked hh will only affect a few genes, where rank specials often guarantee many more.

For example Catch a Blue moon specifically gives this:
"White 2 Blue Roan Homozygous Splash Frame Appaloosas"

Which would be quite rare to obtain through regular hh creates.

Ok, i was wondering because i have a few and am still learning whats concidered higher worth and rare. These are a couple of the newer ones i gotten which had me questioning.

All Rank Specials are at least perfect foundation quality (100% foundation breeding ability which papers C/Yellow, 9.9PT and perfect consistency) . The Champagne Fizzy and Catch A Blue Moon are in that category.

Some of them are exceptional producers, which add 5% to the breeding ability and paper B/Red. Some including the Storm Warning, are exceptionally perfect which have a PT of 10.4, in addition to the 105% breeding ability.
