I have quite surprised at how much interest people had in my snowflake, Gulastra Plume Riding Horse stud, APP Ziggy Stardust.

Sadly, he didn't make it to this season, I have placed three of his intact sons up for public breeding. These are all snowflake carriers, homozygous for GP and superior to their sire.

This Ziggy son will not be available public, but I will offer straws for 5k. This stud is homozygous for GP and snowflake and also carries nd1.

So far I have a simple but nice little Blue papered SBA-passing filly.

And a really cute show colt. I’m kind of sad he didn’t pass SBA, even though he missed the snowflake genes. But he’ll be good eye candy for the show String.

Now I have to decide if I want to risk putting him with a red papered het snowflake mare or put him with my only other blue, who isn’t a appy, but could give me a better chance at intacts.... hmmm.

Ohhh. Went with the blue mare. Got gelded colts, but they have 11.20 and 11.30 PT scores, so I ain’t even mad. :p Good job, Ziggy’s Treat. I may have to bug you for straws next season. :D

My Muse does the same thing, @Paradox. When I first started I didn't know to breed evenly so I put Muse to a few of my foundation mares. All of them are very good show horses. They're four now but some of them are pushing sixty/seventy points already.
