A Dark Chocolate Palomino?

I know he's darker than the usual and his dad is a Hom DP Freaky Friday while mom is a (Hom/Het DP?) Chocolate Palomino. So is it possible this little dude is Hom? As I know he's Het from dad.

I'm not an expert on chocolate pals, but this is generally the color that I have come to associate with being hom DP :D Regardless, congrats he's lovely!ID: 247225

This guy is the darkest chocolate that I have. His dad is hom DP and his mom was het DP so he is at least het (most likely Hom) and produced a hom DP filly. They’re about the same base color :)

I believe both of these are hom DP as they are darker than my other chocolates.

I think these are all hom Dp! If they look almost like silver blacks, then presumably if they didn't have cream they'd be black chestnuts.

@Sherwoodstables you are right! the first 4 horses in this thread are all homo DP's!
Like you said, they are much darker than the other chocolate palomino's, they look more brown/gray/blackish, less creamy/yellowish/sandylike than single DP choco palo's.
I'll try to find some more examples tomorrow, as I don't have much time to delve into it and look for examples ;')HJ1 160524
