I'm wondering if I'm imagining things :)) but I always felt like the tail and mane of black livers was helpful in identifying them. Like @Rutledge's gorgeous kp girl, her tail just seems a liiiittle lighter than a black horse's would be.

That's always how I went about finding them, but now looking at blu and SilverCreek's kiddos I can't really tell? Either way, congrats on the gorgeous foals everyone :D

I guess there is some variation in mane & tail color among black livers. Found these two through search and the first one looks exactly like a black horse would! The second is definitely lighter though :-? Sorry to get sidetracked!
