Prince Agaricus

He's still a work in progress, I have a few more tweaks to sneak in before he's breeding age. But after searching around I totally fell in love with DP bays with mushroom and I'm so pleased to finally have this guy!

♥ ᴍᴜsʜʀᴏᴏᴍ: "The Mushroom gene appears to act only on red pigment and desaturates the color leaving a sepia hue to the coat. Manes and tails range from slightly diluted to near pure white."

And because I love making these before and after type graphics for my GMT projects, here is one of him :D

AHA! I figured out the cutting tool! But its not as clean as yours on your beautiful boy!

Sure :) I hope it works well for you! I really love using photoshop. Even working for the past 6 or so years with CS5 it took me a while to adjust to CC, so I totally get what you're saying :))

Ooh that looks great Bambi! I have my magic wand at a tolerance of 30, so I think that trimmed it down a bit more!

So I didn't actually select my boy... lol this is gonna be a lot... I used a screenshot of him with the basic blue background and selected the background. Then I inverted it so he was selected and deleted him, leaving an empty frame of basic blue background which was filled by the lower layers (pictures of him with pewter bg). I think that cut down a lot on the border.

Sorry, does that even make sense? :)) I love what you did with the background, looks totally awesome!

I would have never thought to invert! I knew that basic blue though! I haven't edited this way since my horseland days lol

He's a beauty Peachtree, congratz!
I've always liked how mushroom looked on DP chestnuts and palis, but have never seen it on DP bays. It looks so cool!
If only I had a credit card :P

Same @blu :)) @MS Thank you! Mushroom livers and chocolates are super gorgeous, but I was searching around to see what it looked like on other dark bases and found these guys who really made up my mind:
