So here I am ..(long overdue) working on naming my lined horses. Currently on page 26 of 52. #:-S Most get rather boring names, unfortunatly. For the most time I just combine the names of the sire and dam in some way.

So how about a shout out to some of the more cleverly named horses around here? What's the most clever or funny name you've seen? :)

I'm rather proud of my mushroom foundation stallion's name, since it won me a prize for punning. There was a challenge offering a small prize for anyone naming their mushroom horse with a pun on badgers. So...I just had to come up with Bad Gerbil.

I'm loving the names so far!

I name all of my horses (even my show ponies), so I have to get creative with my naming to avoid duplicates. Here are a few of my personal favorites :D

Steve is mine over on HJ2. HUSG, his breeder, named him, and I kept it because it's so incongruous with his fancy breeding, fancy colors, and fancy tack.

Heeeyyy! Purple People Eater! I love that song! (I love a lot of songs, lol) But I remember at summer camp our group was called Purple People Eater's! It was so much fun!

I use to work on a farm with racehorses and broodmares... there was one mare who was meaner than a rattlesnake! I didnt know her name for the longest time so I called her purple people eater... come to find out her name was Temper =))

@Bluchrystals @Bambi207 I am gonna buy a horse trailer and paint it purple and get a decal that says purple people eater =)) mine and my horses colors are purple as soon as I figure out a way to post a picture I will!

The majority of my horses are on HJ2. I recently lost my surrogate mare named Rent A Uterus. I have Kiss My Posterior, and Cerebral Flatulence. My favorite was a horse I bought from Cheers named Drainage Ditch!

This one gave me a double take this morning when I was reading the damage notices and saw, "Your horse under the bridge..." and immediately thought, "My horse where??"

Then I did a double take and realized that is said, "Your horse Under The Bridge," and the HaJ world went back to normal. :D
